GLORIA TERESA was built for her retired Spanish owner by the Spanish Shipyard Group Navantia (ex IZAR). She was launched at their San Fernando-Puerto Real Shipyard in 2004. The Navantia group is typically known for building and repairing Naval and Commercial vessels, not yachts. It is understood she is only the fourth yacht which they have built. Nevertheless she is a very attractive modern yacht with a design that reminds of EXCELLENCE III a bit.
