The Schooner FRIDAY STAR is based on the the famous racing yacht VENDREDI 13 which was the largest composite yacht built at its time and was for the 1972 OSTAR (Original Single Handed Transatlantic Race). helmed by Jean-Yves-Terlain who took second place. VENDREDI 13 was designed by Genimar and built at Tecimar in Saint-Nazaire which ceased production in 1979. FRIDAY STAR was previously with a Blue hull but her current grey looks very modern and excellent.
